Craving God’s Mercy (Nehemiah 1-2:8)

In this sermon from Nehemiah 1–2:8, we explore how Nehemiah’s focus on God’s mercy shaped his prayers, decisions, and mission. Even with a high-trust role and comfort in his life, Nehemiah craved God’s mercy for his people, showing us how dependence on God — not self-reliance — is the foundation for action. When we recognize God’s mercy and grace, it moves us to serve others and engage in the work of the church, including initiatives like the Nehemiah Project.
